This folder consists of six small exhibition catalogues for exhibitions that were held at the Addison during 1980-1981 of works drawn from the collections of the Addison. The individual exhibitions were titled: Breaking Away: Paintings and Drawings from the Colonial and Federal Periods; Vision of the New Land: Nineteenth Century American Landscape Paintings, Drawings and Photographs; Winslow Homer, Albert P. Ryder, Thomas Eakins; Mary Cassatt, James A. McNeill Whistler, John S. Sargent; American Impressionism; The Split Up: The Beginning of a New Art in America; Looking At America: Photographs from the Collection, 1840-1980. Each of the small catalogues has a museum rubber stamp at the bottom of the cover page and contains an essay followed by a listing of the works in the exhibition.
