A most useful catalogue. Foreword by John Marshall Phillips. Introduction by Katherine S. Dreier. Five page essay on the Societe Anonyme by George Heard Hamilton. Catalogue lists works and biographical information (in addition to critical comments) for 167 artists, and list upwards of 300 works by them. The section of the artist catalogue ends with an essay titled "Walter Shirlaw and His Influence". Two appendices at end list exhibitions of the Societe Anonyme as an independent organization, and then as a collection under the care of Yale. Also contains a list of lectures sponsored by the Societe. A rare catalogue which is dense with important information.
