A native of Cincinnati, Ohio, this sculptor settled in Manhattan. Many of his works adorn or used to adorn public buildings and public areas. He was very prolific in sculptured statues and doors and architectural ornament. This publication is quite scarce, and apparently the primary source of information on this artist.
