Volume one is 845 pages; volume two is 831 pages; and volume three is 814 pages. VG-: Wear to the edges and corners of all boards, with cracks between the spine and covers. Cracks to the plates and fading to the gilt text. Smudging and rubbing to the boards. The front free end page and half title page in volume one are loose but laid in. Volume two has a graphic notation on the front free end page. Volume three has a shallow 'hole' where the paper wrap has been worn away and the board is visible below. More wear to the top and bottom of the spine on volumes two and three than on volume one. All are well bound and with dark text. Item #214088
