"This volume, compiled by Mrs. Baldwin, is divided into eight sections. The first, the beginning, contains the pictures drawn by Palomino in the seventh grade, when he was 14 years old. The growth covers the period between 15 and 18 years. He was 19 when he did his first oils, holidy and reaching. Between these three sections and the search, done when he was 20, Palomino served a brief time in the Marine Corps, and it was there he became interested in the drums and the music which throb through onward, finished a year later.
