A superb copy of this very rare, limited edition printing. This volume (Number 2) picks up where Volume 1 (printed 7 years earlier in 1904) left off. Part 1 of this book is a re-publication of the article written by D. Bushell for the 1907 Metropolitan Museum of Art catalogue and contains information regarding (at a minimum) pieces acquired since the publication of the 1904 Volume 1. It may detail pieces which were also detailed min Volume 1 as well. The explanation in the Introduction is a bit murky. Part 2 of this book contains separate Introductions by Thomas B. Clarke and William Laffan. Part 2 contains additions to the collection since the publication of (at least) the 1907 Museum catalogue (and possibly all acquisitions since the 1904 Volume 1).
