Brownish orange printed paper covered board covers with cloth spine and printed title and design. 183 pp., includes 26 pp. of text (in German) and 148 bw illustrations and a color frontispiece of a watercolor by Egon Schiele. Gilt title along spine. Good+. covers are clean and corner show only minimal wear, but the rear cloth hinge is about broken and weak. Outside front hinge cloth is also weeak and thining. Contents are VG with exception of one small mark in the margin of one page. The Schiele watercolor is bright and vibrant. Item #164587
An in-depth and comprehensive examination of Viennese ceramics of the era, with a very nice frontispiece by Schiele. This copy, unlike some others, is not signed by the author.
