The catalogue was authored by curator, Ben Apfelbaum, collector/owner of the decoys, Seven J. Michaan, and Eli Gottlieb. More than 200 stunnin examples of fish-decoy art are presented herein with text about their history and use. Included is an interview with Ben Chosa, an Ojibway with much practical experience of ice spearfishing. An excellent resource on an unusual and colorful part of America's folk art heritage.
