Text in Russian. A catalogue of 215 miniatures, nearly all portraits, but two or three are city scapes. Most are in small, gold-rimmed, hanging frames. A few, however, are on porcelain vases, boxes, etc. The four pages of color plates include a page of bw blanks with numbers corresponding to the miniatures shown on each plate. Includes a lengthy introduction and appendices. A lovely book.
