Marbled end papers. 454 pp. with 12 steel engravings, some with tissue covers. Front cover detached but present. Very tight text block with no marks and little foxing. Some print and plate images have bled through (offsetting) to neighboring pages. Plates NF but for one. Item #141510
The Columbiad is Barlow's expanded version of his "Vision of Columbus" about the explorer's journey, other North American explorations and history prior to the American Revolution. Divided into 10 "books" with end notes.
