"Catalogue of the Interesting and Valuable Egyptian Collection formed by Mr. Robert de Rustafjaell." An auction catalog from November 1915. Robert de Rustafjaell was "a Bey of the Imperial Ottoman Empire, a Fellow of the Royal Geographical Society," and affiliated with a number of "other learned bodies." He lived in Egypt for 10 years and "devoted himself almost exclusively to Predynastic research. He made a remarkable collection of flint implements ... and his collection of pottery ... is one of the largest and most comprehensive in existence." Of the 745 items auctioned, only a few are illustrated here. Quite a list of artifacts.
