Text is in German. An odd yet intriguing little book. Begins with a two-page statement by Frohnapfel. Then each one of the next 20 pages of text contains a quote about art, creativitiy, or photography from someone notable, along with a brief bio note. They come from Jeanne Hebuterne, Sarah Kofman, Diane Arbus, Ernst Toller, Nadja, Paula Modersohn-Becker, Theroigne de Mericourt, Henriette Vogel, Mata Hari, Pier Paolo Pasolini, Oscar Wilde, Rosa Luxemburg, Milena Jesenska, Arthur Rimbaud, Giordano Bruno, Lucy Jordan, Jean Amery, Seneca, Klaus Mann, and Joe Orton. All are in German, regardless of the nationality of the speaker. Included are photo references to Frohnapfel's own work. But the only piece that appears is an original BW photo tipped in at the rear cover. On the back of the photo here is written in pencil: "(Galerie Marie Puck-Broodthears, Brussels), 671800 7995136 Doris Frohnapfel." 1 of 800 copies issued with original photograph.
