Rebound spine reads: Draperies, Osmont. One reference source lists the full title as Recueil de Draperies d'Hallavant mis au jour et augmente par Osmont et Dezon. Very scarce. "This is a widely referenced authentic notebook of designs for practicing designers of the Empire period and is extremely rare." This copy is volume 5 of the 7-volume set. It depicts styles of draperies hung over beds or at windows. Each plate is enhanced with one or more tints. Captions are in French. Library identity stamp appears on bottom corner of every plate.
