Good (ex-library with expected marks. additionally, a perforation stamp appears on title page. a blind stamp has been applied to frontispiece, title page, and all plates. the page on which plate 15 is mounted has a closed tear. some tissue guards missing. frontispiece had been reattached to binding with a tape and is loose again. table of contents also loose, and a few other pages near the front are bit fragile near the gutter. shows signs of use including a few stray pencil marks, occasional chips or tears at page edges, and finger/ink smudges especially around the margins of plate 18.).
