Linen covered thick boards with leather spine, all contained in a slipcase. 20 pp. text (including title material), followed by 103 plates, each with tissue guards. 12x18 inches. Internally spotless and tight. Outer leather has cracked in a few spots and scuffing. Appears to have spent all it's time in the slipcase. One copy spine as reinforcing repair tape in same color as leather. Item #122820
A fabulous and beautifully-produced volume with Italian paper made expressly for this edition. Each tissue guard is printed with the description of the corresponding plate. Includes a list of abbreviations, as well as the 10-page introductory essay by de Tolnay.
