"Kenneth Klepser's collection of Worcester porcelain was formed between the mid-1940s and the mid-1960s. The Collection comprises 211 pieces, all of which are illustrated in this volume (64 in colour). It includes a representation of the majority of the wide range of shapes and patterns produced at Worcester between 1751 and 1776. The Collection is relatively little known either in England or the United States and it contains a number of hitherto unrecorded pieces, together with an especially strong selection of the early wares from the 1750s. The pieces themselves are divided into eight sections, each preceded by an introductory text." (dj) A monumental, well-annotated and illustrated catalogue.
