Most useful reference, as this contains a complete checklist of the collection, including paintings, drawings, prints, posters, sculpture, murals, tapestries and wall hangings by contemporary artists . Preface by Saul S. Wenegrat. Works of art in area airports (La Guardia, Newark and JFK), bus and passenger ship terminals and the World Trade Center, with artist index at rear. Pages 92-112 are devoted to the works of art in the World Trade Centers, including murals and tapestries by Le Corbusier, Robert Motherwell, Romare Bearden, Paul Klee, Kenneth Noland, Pierre Clerk and Corneille, and sculpture by Louise Nevelson, Fritz Koenig, Masayuki Nagare, and Kenneth Snelson. Appears to be the most comprehensive documentation on the art of the World Trade Center buildings published prior to the Sept. 11, 2001 attacks and subsequent loss.
