With incredible photos and detailed descriptions of the over 1000 lots that were sold at the 40 Years of Star Trek auction, held at Christies in New York in October of 2006. If you were one of the lucky few and won one of the highly prized lottery tickets to actually be at the auction, then you probably already have this catalogue. If not, this is the most incredible item to detail the history of the items that comprised 6 Television Series, 10 Major Motion Pictures and spanned 40 years. The auction was so large that it took 3 days and 2 volumes just to catalogue the items that were up for sale! Preparation for the auction took almost a year.
