Rauschenberg

NY: Harry N. Abrams, 1969, circa. Hardcover. Pict. boards. 232 pp. 100's of bw plates. VG, an exceptional copy. Item #6295

A peculiar book in the way it is put together, but altogether typical of Rauschenberg, who designed the book. Text begins on the front cover of the book and continues unevenly until page 223, where Notes begin. Autobiography begins at page 225, bibliography at 230. Complete listing of plates and paintings included. One of the scarcest, if not the scarcest, Abrams monographs. An exceptionally crisp, tight copy.
