Presents the story behind 17 classrooms located at the Cathedral of Learning in Pittsburgh, each of which was underwritten by a different nationality group or community living in the area around Pittsburgh. The nationalities are: China, Greek, Syria-Lebanon, Italian, Scottish, French, Polish, German, Russian, Romanian, Czechoslovak, Yugoslav, Hungarian, Swedish, Lithuanian, Norwegian, and Early American.
