A stunning set of this large (11.1" x 14.2") and heavy (17 pounds). Both volumes are very-well illustrated including full page, tipped, and mounted plates. They are printed on fine paper, but I see no reference to a limitation as has been referenced elsewhere. Perhaps the limitation was only for the London edition, and this set has the publisher at the base of the spine. An authoritative, essential and revered reference work.
