Section one contains color frontispiece and 21 color plates. Sections two and three each contain a color frontispiece and 25 color plates. The fourth section is unbound containing 25 loose color plates. Good (overall shelfwear to boards, section one is missing plates 28, 56, 127 and 138, all other plates present in section one. Sections 2 and 3 have all 25 plates listed. Section 4 does not contain a list but has 25 color plates. Plates are lightly age toned. The unbound section of plates have light foxing mainly along edges but plates are otherwise clear). Item #188943
Text is in French. This copy is dated 1921. This was originally to consist of 200 plates with the author's death interrupting publication making the volume complete with 100 plates. Each section contains a list of the plates (with the exception of the last unbound section).
