From a college library. Copies have been inspected and appear clean, though their may be instances of highlighting, marginalia, etc. Foxing to textblock edges. Spotted or speckled foxing primarily to page edges; pages remain nice and bright. Only a few volumes have removal dates to their due date cards. An accompanying print-out from the college library indicates that the collection was removed from circulation and placed in their rare-book/appointment-only category. A majority of the maps and fold-out plates remain precisely folded, indicating they've never been unfurled or refolded by a meticulous hand. Opening page indicates that only 'One thousand copies of this book have been printed for sale in Great Britain and Ireland.' A very heavy set.
