"This book with a cover designed and executed especially for it by Joan Miró, is a selection of 114 photographs ... taken from 1950 to 1955. The French edition by Verve (Les Européens) and the American edition by Simon and Schuster (The Europeans) were conceived and composed by Tériade with the collaboration of Marguerite Lang.
