The first session sold Japanese Ivories, European Ivories, Bronze Statuettes, Japanese Objects of Art, Japanese Porcelain and Chinese Porcelain. The second session sold American and European Paintings. The third session sold Whieldon and Wedgewood Salt-glaze and tortoise-shell ware, mainly purchased by Mr. Plamer from the Pendelton Collection, along with Important American and European furniture. The third session sold lots as a continuation of the lots from the second session, with a total of 320 lots in the auction. This sale sold a grouping of American Furniture which was unquestionable the finest ever sold in New York to that time.
