Begins with Vol. 13, No. 2 (Nov. 22, 1879. No issues printed on Sundays, Christmas, New Years. Issues 41 and 42 are bound in reverse, and the whole numbering of the subsequent issues if off by 1 unit from there on, with the numbers being corrected in ink by someone along the way. Lacks issue for January 31, Paper for early February is of lesser quality, resumes better on Feb. 6. Hand-correction of the issue numbers ceases with No. 200, thereafter printed issue numbers are unadulterated and off by one digit from the true issue number for this volume. Issue 227 erroneously numbered 22. Issue 230 numbered "2 3". Issue 298 (Weds. Nov. 10) is followed by issue 300 (Friday Nov. 12). Last issue is No. 307, from Saturday, November 20, 1880 A total of 306 issues. Overall the issues are in excellent condition with very minor folding mostly in the form of dog-ears. Very scarce.
