One of the most noteworthy parts of this catalogue is the occurance of 14 works by Paul Weber, the Philadelphia artist. Also includes works by Thomas H. Hinckley (1), John F. Kensett (1), Edmund D. Lewis (3), Edward Moran (5), Peter Moran (1), Rembrandt Peale (1), Peter F. Rothermal (1), Xanthus Smith (2), Thomas Sully (3), A.F. Tait (1), S.B. Welch (1), Worthington Whittredge (1). 15 of the wood engravings are after paintings (none of them American). The collection is especially strong in Dusseldorf and Paris painters.
