French, printed on vellum abd signed in pencil by him under the plate along with an original remarque. Second title page of paper without signature or remarque. Loose tissue guards. Frontis to volume 2 etched and signed by H.W.H. Bicknell, after a painting by Copley. Title-page engraving not signed, same as Volume 1. Both volumes dated 1903 on title-page but copyrighted 1904.
