Original blue paper-covered publishers' bopards with 5 raised-bands underneath paper covered spine with hand-written title in the second compartment. xvii, 318 pp. with three folding engraved plates prior to the text, 7 pp. index, 16 pp. appendix, 2 pp. advertisement. VG but with noticeable soiling to extremities of some signature edges. All signatures are unopened. A very nice copy in it's original state with some loss due to paper-thinning to the ffep and a small tear at the top hinge of the rfep. Item #176364
