Text is entirely in Latin. A stunning book on rsignet ings and ring designs and symbols, apparently drawn from the collection of Abraham Van Goorle. Showing two perspectives of each ring, several of the rings have rotating platforms so that one of two motiffs might be selected, and they are illustrated one-to-a-page. A later (possibly) printing of this edition shows the same number of rings (196) but a higher number of the other symbols (196). No evidence of withdrawl of plates from this volume.
