Full green crushed leather with elaborate gilt floral design on front and rear cover, gilt title in ornate letters of front cover, variant title in simpler letters on spine. 4.4" wide x 5.9" high x .65" thick, top edge gilt. Printed in red and black in Chaucer type, wood-engraved title,borders and initials designed by William Morris, Doublures with orange silk pastedowns inside ornate leather and gilt embossed borders, orange silk endpapers. [8], 130, [6] pp., including blanks. VG+, spine expertly repaired at outer hinges where tenderness threatened ruin. A solid and clean copy. Item #174952
