Half-title, 62 pp., followed by 1-page of recent or soon-to-be published titles. VG, light age-toning and a few instances of ancient inked underlining in a thin line. Item #174151

This copy bears the bookplate of Oliver Henry Perkins. It was sold at an auction of his books in NYC on either March 23 or 24th, 1926 held at Anderson Galleries. Nebenzahl states "Dickinson was one of the most influential political figures in the middle colonies, and a prominent member of the Stamp Act Congress. This discussion of that controversial measure and its economic consequences, justifying Nullification, began a career that later earned him the title of "Penman" of the Revolution."
