Hardcover. 1/2 white cloth with applied paper label to spine, thin blue paper over boards . T.e.g, pages untrimmed. VG-, small tear to blue paper on front cover where it was not glued sufficiently to the board, and a piece actually missing from the same spot on the rear board measuring 1/4" x 2.5". Tiny corner of paper label on spine missing showing color difference between exposed spine cloth and covered. Tight and clean otherwise. Spare paper spine label still intact at the rear of the book. This novel was awarded a Pulitizer Prize in 1926, which Lewis refused. A very nice copy but not perfect.
