Title from added title page./ The pages from the first state of v. 7 of Goethe's Schriften (Leipzig, 1787-1790), with the last 3 lines of p. 144 repeated on p. 145, and an added t.p., dated 1787 (not the usual 1790). Engel 698. There is a lot of debate about this tttle, when it was printed and so-forth. I expect the buyer to be aware of these things and take enjoyment from figuring it out. Possibly one of 1000 copies printed.
