Boston: The Walpole Society, 1929. Special Edition of 100 Copies. Hardcover. 2 vols. Green cloth with gilt lettering on spine. Volume 1 (1929): :xviii + 325 pp. with 42 bw plates; Volume 2 (1932): xiv + 323 pp. with 28 bw plates. VG+. Item #172405

A two-volume set. Series Two (Volume 2) was published in 1932. 500 copies of Volume 1 were printed, and 400 copies of Volume 2 were printed. Both volumes seem to cover every fine and decorative art maker and business of the time. The exception is textiles. The only kind of textile listed is upholstery, with only one woman (Ann King) among the business people advertised. Very thorough and an excellent reference.
