Text is in English and French, with an Italian translation booklet of 24 pages also laid-in at the front. The limitation page mentions original lithographs on Arches and Japon, but this copy is not of that series, being initialed by the artist in pencil and marked EA where a number would be expected. The lithographs are also clearly marked as fac-similes, which is more closely related to a common edition mentioned at the end of the limitation page. Regardless of this point, it is a lovely and personalized copy of a fantastic book in superb comdition, with a lightly faded slipcase. Rare. In addition to the cut-out endpapers, there are fold-out pages, vellum overlays, inserts of related exhibitions or correspondences (also in facsimile) geneorous and vivid reproductions and numerous holographic texts of the artist's work and writings in these notebooks.
