From the DJ: The Intimiste painter Pierre Bonnard (1867-1947) created innumerable book and periodical illustrations, exhibition invitations, personal announcements, and advertisements throughout his career. Here is the catalogue raisonne of his illustrative work, covering Bonnard's entire output as an illustrator, from 1891, when he drew his first advertisement, Valse de Salon, for France-Champagne, to his death, just shortly after he had created a cover and frontispiece for an issue of the arts magazine in Verve devoted entirely to his work.
