This exhibition was organized by William J. Chiego, and the catalogue was written by H.A.D. Miles and David Blayney Brown. The catalogue features 44 oil paintings and 39 drawings, as well as a selection of prints. He was the first major British artist to study Spanish painting, and his genre scenes are wonderful records of life in his era. This is a very substantial catalogue.
