A basically new copy, only opened to verify the contents and number. It is one of 500 copies printed. Light spotting to paper and cardboard shipping case. 50 monochrome plates on yellowish background; plates measure 12.5" x 9.75"; set was limited to 500 copies of which this is hand-numbered 28. A finer copy not to be found and quite scarce. Photo of Bertoia by Joseph Seraphin. This privately published edition was designed by Quentin Fiore. The letterpress sections we set in Aldine Bembo and printed on Rives heavy weight white mould made paper. The plates were printed by offset on Mohawk Superfine Softwhite cover stock. Printed by A. Colish, Inc., of Mount Vernon, New York, under the supervision of Bert Clarke.
