This is a folded 18-sheet, single-spaced and printed on one-side very detailed description of the Munthe Collection, which corrects errors in the 1925 catalogue and adds very much to the knowledge base. This 18-page ecatalogue is signed by Berthold Laufer and is dated January 1928. It lists 158 paintings, appx. 70 pieces of sculpture and 3 pottery and 2 glass items. Worldcat locates 1 copy of this report. The Munthe collection was exhibited on loan at the Los Angeles County Museum 1927-1930. In 1930 the porcelain section was purchased for the Museum and is currently housed in the Los Angeles county Museum of Art. This may be an earlier version than that which is currently held at the Museum. The report itself is 3-pages, the rest is a deatiled inventory and description of the paintings and Sculpture, with scant mention on the last page of a few porcelains and glass works.
