Full contemporary leather with geometric embossing, no title on spine, 5 raised bands. xvi, 374 (2) pp ads at rear Engraved frontice. Good overall, bookplate of Charles Deane, overtop of older bookplate possibly his father Joseph Deane, who has written his name across the title page and dated it 1728. Item #165615

Worldcat reference calls for a folding frontis, but this book exhibits a non-folding, well-fitting engraved portrait appropriately dated and ascribed to this volume. Very nice copy overall in an original binding.
