The complete works of Filippo Baldinucci, a renowned Florentine art historian and biographer. The first 5 volumes are a facsimile copy of the 1845-47 edition published in Firenze (Florence) by V. Batelli e Compagni. (The works originally were published between 1681-1728, also in Florence.) Volumes 2 through 5 include annotations and supplemental information, edited by F. Ranalli. Volumes 6 and 7 are appendices with critial notes and supplemental information, edited by Paola Barrocchi. This entire set is nearly flawless; a hardcover set bound in beautiful, rich, red cloth.
