All bound into 3/4 reddish-brown leather with marbled paper/boards. 4 raised bands with gilt lettering and 6 decorative double bands in gilt. 10.5 x 13 inches and weighs 12 pounds, so extra postage will be required. VG contents; covers splitting at hinges, and leather is beginning to dust. Internal binding secure. Item #159181
The first 8 issues of The Country Calendar, later absorbed into Country Life (after this 8th issue), so this is the complete run of the original title. A wonderful photographic, cultural, and historic reference with great advertisements and articles. The first issue includes and article on sporting and outdoor life by former President Grover Cleveland.
