Decorative end papers. vii, 139 pp. + [1] appendix; bw frontis and several additional bw plates, tissue-guarded. VG- contents, clean and tight. Tissue guards, however, have occasional foxing, and some of that has offset onto the corresponding plate. Covers tight and solid but with soiling and a hint of fraying to head/tail of spine. Ownership notation of Calvin D. Yost on ffep (there is a pastor, F.C. Yost, listed in the biographical sketches). Item #159023

An excellent volume for any Pennsylvania/Chester County/Reformed Church historian. Several specific churches are mentioned: Brownback's, East Vincent, St. Peter's (Pikeland; Warwick), St. Matthew's, St. Vincent, St. Paul's, Shenkel's, St. John's (Phoenixville), First Reformed (Spring City), Sunnyside, Fairview. With biographical sketches of pastors since 1850 (to 1892, presumably).
