Philadelphia: Henry Miller (Printer), 1776. Original Edition (not a reprint or e-book). Brown leather/boards. 5 raised bands; gilt lettering. 766 pp. with no illus. A bit overweight at 8 pounds, and will require extra postage. Front cover detached but present. Back cover/spine leather wearing/rubbed. Pencil inscription in two places: "Presented to the National Museum by Peter B. Long." Very occasional marginalia (on about 5 pages) in the sections from 1774-5. Light foxing to some page edges. Nothing offensive. An occasional page corner turned over. Some sort of oil or water stain to part of very lower margin area of first few pages, and age darkening to same.
