The classic Christmas tale so loved by children of every age, beautifully-illustrated. There is some controversy, however, as to who authored the poem: Clement Clarke Moore in 1823 (when it first appeared in print) or Henry Livingston, Jr., 15 years prior, whose ostensibly sole written copy, based upon Dutch tradition, went up in flames with his home.
