A wonderful, clean and firm copy of the original 1952 release. In addition to the furniture, lighting fixtures, and fabrics are included. The Foreword traces the history of modern furniture design and explains the thinking behind contemporary furnshings. Photographs of the most historically significant pieces of furniture from this book point up Mr. Hennessey's very apt comments. Note that this is an original copy, NOT a reprint.
