Included paintings, sculpture, bronzes, cloisonne, ceramics, textiles, and jades in the Chinese art portion; photographs, maps & charts, toys & games, and items regarding daily life, education, business, and silk culture in the Life in China portion of the exhibition. Includes a list of historical periods in China and brief essays about several of the types of Chinese decorative arts. There is an interesting political note on the back cover urging museum visitors to vote "YES" in the up-coming election (November 4, 1924) to the proposed City of Baltimore loan for the erection of a Museum of Art. The museum at this time was located in Garrett House, Mount Vernon Place (which had been lent to the museum), and needed a larger space.
