Begins with ten pages of press reviews of the collection and exhibition, which took place in Broadway at the Church of The Divine Unity (apparently). This is followed by an Extract From The Plan of The Art Union of Rhenish Prussia and Westphalia, and Object of This Art Union. Lists 122 works (and an additional 7 which had not yet arrived), some with descriptions and background that go on for pages. This includes an abbreviated section devoted to Lessing's "Huss Before The Stake" of "The Martyrdom of Huss". In the lengthier version of this catalogue, this section alone goes on for some 40 pages. The larger catalogue also includes 11 additional paintings, but strangely lists only 7 original drawings. This smaller catalogue lists 35 drawings, all of them different than the ones in the larger catalogue. Many contemporary reviews are included in the text, with sources usually noted.
