Included are explanatory notes, the main text (in Russian with a summary in English), list of abbreviations, synoptic index, the album of plates, list of plates and the illustrated catalogue. Covers the early, mature, and late-style Coptic/Egyptian textiles from the 3rd to the middle of the 7th century. Most of the pieces were collected by V.G. Bock and V.S. Golenishchev during visits to Egypt in the 1880s and 1890s and purchased by the Pushkin Museum in 1911 and 1924.
